Children aged 24 Months – 30 Months (approx.)Children will progress to Blue if they exceed their developmental milestones

Once in Yellow room the children are more mobile and confident to freely explore the areas. The room consists of the sensory area, construction area, creative area, home corner and small worlds area and they have direct access to their own external play area which offers an extension of learning opportunities. The children have their own dedicated bathroom which has infant toilets and infant sinks enabling them to become more independent. We also have nappy changing facilities.  Whilst in this room staff work alongside parents to encourage children to become toilet trained.

The staff carry out wellcomm screening with the children to assess children’s’ speech and language skills as well as looking and listening, story and rhyme and golden rules.
